KORSCH Unveils Compact, High-Speed Rotary Tablet Press at Interpack 2026

The XT 300 Tablet Press has been designed to deliver reliable performance with reduced complexity, combining proven technologies with a streamlined, user-oriented design.

Pharmaceutical compression technology specialist, KORSCH, has introduced its robust, single-sided, high-speed rotary tablet press, the XT 300 Tablet Press, at Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The production technology enables efficient tablet manufacturing for mid- to high-volume applications all within a compact footprint (1).

The tablet press has been designed for single-layer tablet production and can reportedly achieve outputs of up to 324,000 tablets per hour when equipped with a turret with segments. Offering compression forces of up to 40 kN during precompression and 80 kN during main compression, and combined with turret speeds of up to 120 rpm, the machine is capable of delivering reliable, high-performance tableting across a wide range of applications (1).

Through its exchangeable turret system, the tablet press enables users to produce a wide range of tablet formats on one machine. Turret options include standard die configurations and turrets with segments, which support different production requirements and output targets.

Additionally, the tablet press is equipped with PharmaControl — an established press force control system — which ensures that precise tablet weight is controlled through continuous monitoring of compression forces. For full transparency, users can view both average and individual compression forces in real time (1).

Furthermore, in April, the company revealed it would be highlighting its fully in-house designed high containment version of its STYL’ONE Evo Compaction Simulator, the STYL’ONE Evo WipCon, at the event (2). Offering a comprehensive range of applications, including powder characterization, single-/multi-layer and tab-in-tab development, dry granulation simulation, GMP-compliant small-batch production, troubleshooting of production challenges, and optimization of critical process parameters, the platform enables support from early formulation through to clinical manufacturing (2).

“During development of the STYL’ONE Evo WipCon, our focus was on delivering uncompromising operator safety while ensuring ease of cleaning, fast changeover, and straightforward maintenance,” said Thomas Vermeulin, Technical and Innovation Director of STYL’ONE product range, in a company press release (2). “The system enables both R&D and small-scale production, including tablet testing, within a highly controlled and protected environment. We are proud to bring this level of performance and safety to our customers.”
