Praxis Makes Strategic Acquisition of ACI
Through the purchase the contract packaging organization will add 160,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehouse facilities in Florida and will expand its capabilities and market segments.
Contract packaging organization, Praxis Packaging Solutions (Praxis), has announced its acquisition of innovative contract packaging and manufacturing company, Advanced Concept Innovations (ACI) (1). Through this strategic acquisition, Praxis will further enhance its customer offering by expanding its geographic footprint into the Southeast region of the U.S.

Together, we believe we will be even better positioned to serve our customers, providing the high level of service and quality that customers have come to expect from both companies.”
Founded in 2004, ACI is based in Lakeland, Fla., where it has manufacturing and warehouse facilities for the provision of contract packaging of medical devices, over-the-counter, consumer, and health and beauty products. Additionally, the company is a large domestic manufacturer of surgical-grade N95 respirators.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Praxis will gain over 160,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and warehouse facilities from ACI, which the company will add to its current footprint. This latest addition will bring up Praxis’ total footprint to approximately one million sq. ft., which was increased earlier in the year through a 125,000 sq. ft. expansion of the Grand Rapids, Mich. Site.
Furthermore, in March 2025, Praxis completed a successful multi-day FDA audit of its facilities with zero Form 483 observations. “Praxis Packaging has made quality and compliance foundational to its operations, boasting an impressive history of successful audits, including inspections from the FDA, DEA, EPA, customers, and outside certification bodies. The success of these audits underscores Praxis’s robust quality management system, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices and being audit-ready and documentation-ready at all times,” stated the company in a press release (2).
For the acquisition, Edgemont Capital Partners, L.P. served as financial advisor and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP served as legal counsel to ACI; and Paul Hastings served as legal counsel to Praxis.
