Spinout Ensorcell Launches with Three Flagship Life Science Tools
Backed by the expert team and cutting-edge resources of Re:Build Manufacturing, Ensorcell will offer innovative, high-quality scientific tools designed to accelerate discoveries and improve patient outcomes.
Ensorcell, a subsidiary of Re:Build Manufacturing, has launched to offer intuitive, innovative, and affordable tools for life science research and bioprocessing. Operating from Framingham, Massachusetts, the company is promising high-quality, intuitive, and affordable life science tools designed to empower researchers and bioprocessing professionals throughout discovery and manufacturing (1).
Composed of industry veterans, the Ensorcell team aims to tackle the longstanding challenges around usability, complexity, and costs prevalent across the scientific sector. With a customer-centric approach and leveraging deep expertise in engineering and biology, Ensorcell strives to reimagine essential laboratory technologies for greater usability and reliability, while fostering curiosity and collaboration among its diverse team of experts.
From today, Ensorcell's portfolio includes three flagship products:
Cellular Focus — a customizable imaging workstation designed for precision and flexibility in laboratory imaging
Premaerix — a compact and quiet laboratory gas mixer tailored for sensitive applications such as cell culture and organoid research
Versaweld — a lightweight, battery-powered tube welder engineered to streamline sterile liquid handling in bioprocessing.
Cellular Focus and the base Premaerix configuration are already available for purchase, with Versaweld expected for release in early 2026 but already open for partnerships and pre-orders.
“Innovation in the life sciences is too often synonymous with unnecessary complexity and high costs. We reimagine critical research and bioprocess tools to make them easier to use and more accessible, while also enhancing functionality,” said Jeff Goldman, Ensorcell’s General Manager, in a company press release (1). “With the resources of Re:Build, we deliver high-quality, efficient products that accelerate lab research and bioprocess operations and ultimately improve patient access to new therapies.”
Ensorcell is a spinout of Re:Build Manufacturing, a privately held, U.S.-based industrial group founded in 2020 with a focus on revitalizing American manufacturing through the integration of human-centered design, advanced engineering, and modern production techniques. Operating a network of specialized engineering and manufacturing businesses, Re:Build leverages cutting-edge technologies, robust operational expertise, and strategic acquisitions to deliver innovative products and solutions across sectors including aerospace, cleantech, health, industrial equipment, and mobility, with a mission to drive sustainable job creation, continuous improvement, and long-term value for communities and customers (2).
